Co-op gamers have already had some decent releases to check out this year, withDysmantlegetting its console release back in January andElden Ringquickly becoming one of the highest-rated video games ever made. But while 2022 has already been kind to co-op-minded gamers, there’s even more to look forward to later in March, with March 25 especially shaping up to be an exciting day for co-op fans.
March 25 will see the release of two bigco-op gamesthat both have potential to be two of the best co-op games of the year. One of them is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, whereas the other is a multi-platform game. Regardless, both should be on co-op gamers' radar.

First up isKirby and the Forgotten Landon the Nintendo Switch.Kirby and the Forgotten Landis set to be the most ambitiousKirbygame to date, abandoning the franchise’s 2D roots in favor of being a full-blown 3D platformer. Not only isKirby and the Forgotten Landgoing to be a 3D platformer, though, but the game will also have a full-fledged co-op mode for players to enjoy as well.
In theKirby and the Forgotten Landco-op mode, one player takes control of Kirby and the other plays as Waddle Dee. While Kirby is the only one capable of pulling off some of the game’s more visually-impressive tricks, Waddle Dee should be able to hold his own. Anyone curious can check out theKirby and the Forgotten Landdemo that’s hit the Switch eShop ahead of the game’s launch on March 25.
The other major co-op games that fans will want to keep an eye on come March 25 isTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which is aiming for release across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. A spin-off of theBorderlandsfranchise,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis a continuation ofTiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, aBorderlands 2expansion that is a parody ofDungeons & Dragons.Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandswill have the same vibes asAssault on Dragon Keep, but will be a full-scale game.
BetweenTiny Tina’s WonderlandsandKirby and the Forgotten Land, co-op gamers will have no shortage of games to play come March 25. And it’s worth pointing out that there are even more co-op games releasing in March, with thepreviously Stadia exclusive beat ‘em upYoung Soulsset to drop for more platforms on March 10.
