According to Bryan Intihar,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s creative director, the newCandymanfilm was a big inspiration for the casting. “I just happened to be on the internet one day listening to the newCandymantrailer, and I heard Tony, and I was like, ‘If I could get like a Tony Todd.
